7-time Lotto winner shares his secrets
Sat May 18, 2013
The problem is that the revenue isn't created out of thin air - it's basically a tax (usually paid by those that can least afford it) with a good chunk taken out by the organization running the lottery.
Status check: Extreme travelers sit through taxing 'mileage runs'
Fri Nov 30, 2012
I can understand why you'd do it, although it seems like the airline would take this into account and offer to sell you the miles at a fraction of what you would pay for the trip, saving you time & money and saving themselves fuel costs (assuming that the seat wouldn't be sold to someone else).
Zynga game 'The Ville' lets you (virtually) get it on
Fri Jun 29, 2012
So Samsung is barred from selling tablets because they have the same "look and feel" as Apple and yet Zynga can completely rip off the Sims and get away with it? The Sims has a lot more uniquely identifiable elements to it than the iPad.

'Crab' chips, fruity Oreos? They're big overseas
Sun May 6, 2012
Hmm, wouldn't mind trying fruit flavored Oreos. Considering that raspberries & chocolate are a popular combination, they should introduce raspberry filled oreos here.
'Earthquake' in the pig business: McDonald's to end use of restraining crates
Mon Feb 13, 2012
I was thinking the same thing at first, but there's the bacon in their burgers, the McRib and presumably the sausage in their breakfast items.
Cain maintains innocence, blaming 'Democrat machine'
Tue Nov 8, 2011
Ignoring political leanings, that makes absolutely no sense strategically. If the Democrats had information like this on Cain, it would be in their best interests to help him win the primary and then leak the information before the general election. I bet that even Cain doesn't believe its the Dem …
Best and worst 3-D of the year
Mon Jun 13, 2011
I'd definitely agree about CGI movies being much better in 3-D - not sure why the article says that Green Hornet made good use of 3-D (Green Hornet succeeded as a comedy but completely failed as an action flick). Like Thor, it seems like 3-D was totally pointless - at least Thor looked good in …
